Under the Ngātiwai Trust Deed, notice is hereby given that when the nomination period for Mokau Marae closed at 5pm on Friday 28th of August 2020, the following nomination was received:
- STONE, Wirermu
As there was only one nomination received for one vacancy, no election is required for Mokau Marae, and Wiremu Stone is declared elected unopposed.
Chairman, Aperahama Kerepeti-Edwards says “Tēnā koutou e Te Uri o Hikihiki otira e ngā tini karanga maha o te marae o Mokau. Kua mana ta koutou nomihana I a Wiremu, kia tu ko ia hei māngai mo Te Marae o Mokau I runga I Te Poari o Ngātiwai. “
